At the moment, pipe and hose dies are available for an outer diameter of 0.5 to 40 mm. Depending on the application and customer requirement, spider-type mandrel supports, screen mandrel supports, spiral mandrel distributors or selector plug distributors are used. In coextrusion, the combination of up to 6 layers is possible. For high-temperature materials, special dies to 500°C can be manufactured (standard to 350°C). Like in the blown films, also in the pipes and hoses coloured strips can be extruded.
