The die, which was especially developed for medical applications, is used for e. g. the production of pharmaceutical strands or catheter tubes. At the moment, the innovative, modular design allows the extrusion of up to 9 layers. Furthermore, in every desired layer, strips can be integrated. Different designs with variable diameter and geometry design are possible, meeting the customer requirements. The medical die is designed in such a flexible way that it can also easily be used as hose, strand or blown film die. Moreover, it can be used for a wide range of polymers.
